Eye Care for regular computer users
Eye Care for regular computer users
Slight irritation in the eyes could ruin the viewing for a length of time.
In the morning when you open your eyes, you find them fresh after 6-hours’ rest, but by evening you must be finding it strained. For most of the times, we use computers which add to the strain of the eyes.
Our eyes are always moist as it facilitates the blinking of eyes and keep away the dirt from hurting the eyes. In the event of any foreign material approaching the eyes, the eyes blink to keep it away.
It has been noticed that persons using computers don’t blink that often. If this practice is continued for a period of time then the person may suffer from the problem, known as ‘Dry eyes’. ‘Tears release’ in the eyes is greatly restricted which causes irritation in the eyes. Therefore the person has to use artificial tears to keep the eyes moist.
I am 64-years and I have been using computer for 6-hours a day. Still I don’t find any problem with my eyes. I am regularly performing the following exercise which keeps my eyes healthy.
You may also follow the same exercise:
1. In the morning when I leave my bed, I place my index finger and thumb of right hand on each of the eyebrow and rub it 40-times, similarly I rub a point on the outer end of the eye and another point on the side of nose-bridge, 40-times each.
2. I go to the toilet, fill my mouth with water and splash water on my open eyes. Then I throw-out the water from my mouth with force. I repeat it 3-times.
3. After brushing my teeth, I roll my eyes, clockwise 30-times and then 30-times anti-clockwise. Then I rub my both palms and place the warm palms on the eyes for 10-seconds. I do it 3-times.
4. Finally I place my palms on my eye-brows and rub it 40-times.
The above exercise keeps me fit for the days’ work. I have rarely visited any Eye-specialist, during last 4-years.
Many persons recovered from ‘Dry eye’ problem within 30-days, after following the above exercise. There have been reports of improvement from other eye-ailments also.
