Short people usually wish to gain more height. In India, short girls often find problems in getting suitable match since the boys look for taller girls, even if they are shorter in height. Usual language of the matrimonial advertisement placed in classifieds highlights ‘tall and fair girl’
Well the society also gives importance to taller people. Anybody may wish to gain a taller height and look for means to add 2-3 inches in their height. But authentic solution is not easily available.
Medically, the back and spine can play very important role in anybody’s height. The muscles and cartilage in the spine has the potential to improve our heights. Therefore specific stretching exercises could be selected which may help in stretching out the spine.
The muscles which support the spine should be suitably strengthened so as to stand the strains of the compressions. He exercises will release human growth hormones into the system which will help in increasing the size of bones, muscles and tissues in the body.
Following exercises are found very helpful for growing taller:
1. Hanging from a horizontal bar. Lower body will help the spine to stretch and reduce the tension between the vertebrae.
2. Lie down on your stomach and raise your right arm and left leg and count 15 and relax. Then raise your left arm and right leg and count up to 15 and relax .
3. Lie down on your back. Fold your legs and lift your hips and cunt up to 5, then relax. Repeat this exercise for 15 times. After performing this exercise for 10 days, the same exercise may be repeated twice a day.
4. Stand on your legs, open it 18 inches. Stretch your arms, bend your body on your sides to touch your left foot by left hand, the right arm must be straight pointing towards the sky/roof. Repeat with bending your body to touch right foot by right hand while the left arm pointing towards the roof/sky. Repeat this exercise 10 times, each day.
5. Lie down on your stomach; raise your upper body on your arms while the lower body rests on the floor (Cobra position) Repeat the exercise 10 times every day.
6. Lie straight on your back. Raise your both legs to move over the body by 180 degrees, to touch the ground by your toes. Come back to original position and relax. Repeat this exercise 5 times each day.
These exercises have been found very effective in improving the height. Special attential must be paid to proper diet and sleep.
